When I got to be a little older I began to notice that I did not function the same way “normal” people do. I was first diagnosed with Autism at the young age of 4 years old.  I one of the 1 in 31 children in the US that so happened to have autism. What that  means is in 30 kids you have interacted with one of them fall on the Autism spectrum. Spectrum means that there is an umbrella of situational diagnosis not just one generic. 

 Personally for me I am someone who falls on the outer edge of the spectrum. The challenges that I face can be the same as someone who is on the other side of the spectrum.. In another post I will be going over the different portions of the spectrum and what it can look like/ involve.
